"At 2:30 p.m. EST this Friday, January 8, Secretary of State Hillary
Rodham Clinton will make a major speech commemorating the 15th
anniversary of the International Conference on Population and
Development (ICPD) and will reaffirm U.S. support for achieving the
ICPD goals. As you know, the ICPD put forth a vision and framework for
achieving sustainable development and reducing global poverty that
made gender equality, human rights, and comprehensive reproductive
health a priority - things we continue to advocate for today in U.S.
foreign assistance.

Be the first to witness this important event. The speech will be live
streamed on www.icpd2015.org starting at approximately 2:30 p.m. EST.
If you can't make it on Friday, stay tuned for highlights and analysis
from CHANGE shortly after the speech. In addition, a transcript and
video of the speech will be posted at www.icpd2015.org.

Take action for U.S. support of the ICPD. For those who live in the
U.S., please take a moment to email your Representative and urge
her/him to co-sponsor H. Res. 947, a resolution introduced by Rep.
Barbara Lee (D-CA) that recommits the U.S. to achieving the goals of
the ICPD Program of Action. Please click here to take action today.

We wish you a happy New Year and hope you will join CHANGE in helping
make comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights a reality
for women and young people across the world.

In solidarity,"
