Dear GYCA Members

Are you a young person interested in advocating against violence, which is
a cause as well as a consequence of HIV/AIDS ? 

GYCA is a formal participant in the World Health Organization (WHO) -
Violence Prevention Alliance. GYCAs role in the Alliance is to empower
young leaders with knowledge, skills, resources and opportunities to engage
with the global community in raising awareness about the problem of
violence, highlighting the crucial role that public health can play in
addressing violence as a cause as well as a consequence of HIV/AIDS among
young people,  in particular girls and young women.  Through our global
network, we intend to encourage prevention at every level of society while
stimulating a coordinated international response in all our12 regions.

GYCA is seeking passionate youth advocates who are interested in violence
prevention and are willing  to serve in a task team that will focus on
violence prevention intiatives affecting young people in this era of
HIV/AIDS. Interested?

We are welcoming applications from  GYCAs 12 Regions. Attached, please
find the Terms of Reference (TOR) for the task-team.

Please send your *CV* (no more than 3 pages) and  a 1 page *Motivational
Letter* to yvonne@gyca.org  by *30th August 2012.* Applications sent after
the deadline will not be considered.
